- DED/CONCORD **** off the Drifters
- Drifters blow up Yulai's star with the same weapon that caused Caroline's Star
- Gate and communication networks (local) goes down until capsuleers can repair it (maybe with E-links), meanwhile we get around by way of wormholes.
- Sleepers invade via wormholes and mop up CONCORD, which are reduced to faction status and don't police anymore
- The empires have to control their own space against criminals now, but are unable to match CONCORD's ability and allow capsuleer assistance in raising sec level of systems (occupancy empire)
I think the large structure in the video is the Caroline's Star super weapon, and they're getting ready to use it again! And no, EVE is not dying, it's being reborn like the Phoenix
I'm not sure about concord disappearing or being nerfed, as eve need a high sec. I can see the game is moving toward having player build stargates, for unknown reason concord is going to allow these gates, or even jump drives / static cynos beacons from player structures.
What probably CCP is doing is far beyond changing the game aggro mechanics in the empire, I think it's more along the lines of malfunctioning stargates and drifters incursions, CCP is going to touch heavly on empire logistic.
Think a second about it, what's more deep gaming wise, you being able to freely engage people like you do in low sec, just with the interference of faction police, or having player build station, used to jump or cyno away around drifter sieges and system lockdowns, with all the possible gameplay of disrupting player operation, put up cyno jammers, conquer stations and ultimately shoot people in the face because of defending or attacking said stations?
Also remember, at fanfest they said all the station services are going away, why is that? How is that? Is it related to next iteration of entosys being able to alter system indexes (mining, industrial, ratting, etc)? Are sleepers going to use entosys like we do to conquer and/or disable stations in empire and low sec?
You don't need concord nerfed to stir the water of this game, simply disable heavly the logistic, how you move your goods and how you base your operation, regardless you are the bearest of the bears or the most dreaded of the pirates, you need somewhere to store your stuff safely (even if you use a neutral alt), you need to move your stuff across systems, be it your shiny marauder for missions or your catalysts for ganking miners. |

I doubt that, CCP already stated a variable sec is going to be a mess to handle, and I can see why.
Just think only of the structures that require 0.4 or less sec status, how are you going to handle it if for some time the sec status drop, they get anchored and then it rises again? |
